Confirmed Speakers 20 July '15

Time Out Film Critic Nigel Floyd has confirmed he will be introducing Thomas Vinterberg's 2015 Thomas Hardy classic costume drama "Far from the Madding Crowd" at the Assembly Rooms, Dedham.

Writer and speaker Sydney Bayley will be introducing and leading a Q&A at the screening of  Victor Erice's "The Spirit of the Beehive" at The William Loveless Hall, Wivenhoe.

James Clarke Writer on Animation and Lecturer in Film Studies will be introducing "The Tale of the Princess Kaguya" at The Nottage Maritime Inst. Wivenhoe, and then in Dedham will talk on  the making of Ava DuVernay's biopic on Martin Luther King's fight for equal rights - "Selma".

We are also pleased to welcome back Film Producer Richard Johns who will be talking about Director Anton Corbijn at the beginning of Dedham's screening of the Le Carre thriller, and Philip Seymour Hoffman's last film "A Most Wanted Man", and then give an introductory talk at the screening of the black tragi-comedy cult movie "Withnail and I".
